About Me

Hey! I'm Rabbil Yasar Sajal — a software engineer / builder based in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

I'm currently building EnvShield, JossJobs, KemonChilo — most recently shipping EnvShield, a version-controlled configuration contract for environment variables, published on PyPI.

Day to day I work across Python, Django, Flask, SQLAlchemy, MariaDB, Alembic, React, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind, Docker, AWS, Playwright, Pytest, Linux, Proxmox, TrueNAS, and I'm currently spending time with Go, FastAPI, Svelte, Node.js, Agentic / LLM tooling.

How everyday processes in Bangladesh — especially interacting with government services — could become more self-serve.

Outside of software, I run a small homelab — I like having things running at home that I understand and control. I also spend time with Baldur's Gate 3, The Witcher 3, God of War 2, Red Dead Redemption 2, Resident Evil, Dark Souls, Dark Souls 3, Elden Ring, Sekiro, Dota 2, Grand Theft Auto V.

I also run Kriyonix, a small studio for web and AI-powered products.
